StringLife does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device and in your own private iCloud account. The developer has no access to your data — ever.
StringLife stores the information you enter — your guitars, string sets, play sessions, client names and contact details (in Tech Mode), and alert preferences. This data exists solely to make the app work for you.
None of this data is transmitted to any server controlled by the developer. It lives on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your personal iCloud account.
StringLife uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your data across devices signed into the same Apple ID. This sync is managed entirely by Apple — the developer has no ability to view, access, or retrieve your CloudKit data.
Your iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, available at apple.com/privacy. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device's Settings — the app continues to work fully on-device.
StringLife schedules local notifications on your device to remind you about string changes and play time. These notifications are generated entirely on-device using Apple's notification system. No notification data is sent to any external server.
StringLife contains no analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporters, session recorders, or any other third-party tracking technology. Your usage of the app is not monitored, measured, or reported in any way.

StringLife does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app contains no features directed at children and does not present any advertising or third-party content.
If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised date at the top. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
